U.S. Capitol
The Capitol had so many interesting items, like this aluminum cap that was on the top of the Washington Monument when it was dedicated in 1885. (Read picture below for more info.)
I just thought this was beautiful.

A plaque erected in honor of the "passengers and crew of United Airlines flight 93" that bravely fought the terrorists and were killed when their plane crashed in a Pennsylvania field on 9/11. That plane was supposed to fly into the Capitol.

This is the pedastal of Ronald Reagan. The small, spotted layer is a band of concrete pieces of the Berlin Wall.

Library of Congress
The outside of the Library of Congress.
There isn't much to say or to explain about the Library of Congress, except that it is one of the most beautiful buildings I've ever seen. The inside is spectacular!! Pictures don't even come close to showing it's beauty.

They boys were able to use microscopes to look at different rocks, bones, and bugs.

There were some gorgeous crystals. The boys absolutely loved the rocks and minerals section!
