Thanksgiving 2012

We met the O'Neal clan in Burleson, TX at the Jellystone Park there for Thanksgiving.  It was a great park and we really had a good time with our family.  We missed having Amy & Logan with us, but still had fun together!

Ryan and Yogi Bear.

Yogi looked on as Ryan worked on his Christmas tree craft.

Brock rented a pedal cart and had a lot of fun with it.

They even had a dog park where Max and Kramer could run and play.

Jellystone had a whole bounce house park...a huge hit with my kids!

Since we were all together, we celebrated Christmas a little early.

Brock was a little excited about one of his gifts!

Ryan and Boo Boo.

One of the kid's activities was to plant a magical Christmas tree seed.  The "magic" looked like glitter, but we were told that it was ancient Indian bone that was crushed.  The "seed" was a pine cone.

We took a hay ride out and the boys planted their magic and their seed.

Later on that day, we went back and their seed had grown into a Christmas tree!

Uncle Dick's sexy pose.

The guys all went to play laser tag together.

That is one mean, tough looking group of guys!!!

We all had a wonderful time getting together with family in the great outdoors!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Camping at Brazos Bend State Park

We went on a family camp out to Brazos Bend with the YMCA group that Steve and the boys belong to.  It is a gorgeous state park and we had a wonderful time.  This big, old tree was by the Nature Center and I thought it was amazing.

This was the other side of that big, beautiful, old tree that my little monkeys couldn't resist climbing all over.  Look at those limbs!  Could you resist?

We went on a walk around a lake and found more big, beautiful, old trees.  I thought this was was pretty cool where it split at the bottom and grew into two separate trees.

...And this one that had fallen over.

On the other side of the lake was this watch tower.  Brock is at the top, Ryan on the second level and Steve on the bottom.

Momma and her boys.

There were LOTS of alligators...

...and other wildlife...

...and BEAUTIFUL scenery.
