Oct. 31 ~ Halloween

Spiderman & Superman!!!!!
Superman flying!!
Spiderman shooting his web!

We got Brock's costume several weeks before Halloween, but we didn't get Ryan's costume until the day of Halloween. The only way I could convince Ryan to be Superman was to tell him that he and Spiderman could fight the bad guys together! So, they came home from the store, changed into their costumes and began fighting the bad guys!

After they were done fighting the bad guys, I caught them together by the window. Brock was showing Ryan something in the backyard. It was so sweet and I grabbed the camera real quick and got this "big brother" moment.
The proud load of candy!!!!

Oct. 30 ~ Ryan's 2nd Birthday

Ryan had an Elmo birthday party with his grandparents and great-aunt & great-uncle. He had a great time! For a couple weeks before and ever since, anytime he hears the word "birthday," he says, "Elmo Cake!!!" Apparently, any birthday is an Elmo birthday!

In keeping with the theme, he got an Elmo Hokey Pokey. He seemed to really like it as he checked it out...
...then gave it a bear hug...
...and topped it off with a big kiss!!!

This is the second celebration of Ryan's birthday...on his actual birthdate. We took him to Chuck E. Cheese where he got to play, eat and dance! Then we came home and finished off the other half of Brock's second cake!

More cake!!!

The O'Neal's First Pumpkin Carving

This was our first year to carve a jack-o-lantern for Halloween. When we bought our pumpkin, they gave the kids two mini-pumpkins. We took those home and painted them. The kids had a really good time and were so proud of their pumpkins!

The next day, we carved our pumpkin. Brock and Ryan had never seen what was inside a pumpkin and thought the "ooey-gooey" was something else! Ryan kept looking at it and saying, "I don't like it." They were very interested in how to get it out and carve the face. They did a good job helping me clean it and were very proud of our "Silly Pumpkin."

Oct. 28 ~ Brock's 4th Birthday

Brock turned 4...I can't believe it!! He had a Peter Pan party with his friends and had a great time.
Eating cake...
...and opening gifts.

When we were all saying good-bye to Brock's guests and cleaning up, Ryan decided to dig into the cake...
...and cram his face with as much as possible!!
Then they got to play with their cool toys!

The following weekend, his Gramma & Papa came in, as well as his great-uncle and great-aunt. So we celebrated again!

More cake...
...more cramming our face with it... ...and licking the spoon!!!!
Brock loves to hear the "Happy Birthday" song sung to him. He has the biggest grin...I love it! (Please excuse my horrible singing voice. If you can ignore that, then you can hear Ryan singing in the background...precious!!!)

Oct. 2007

Steve brought Brock this really cool puzzle from Dallas. It is many different cards of varying sizes and shapes that you put together to make a 3D puzzle. It shows you how to make several different pirate ships. This is one they worked on together.

These are Halloween pajamas that their aunt and uncle gave them. Ryan's glow-in-the-dark and it scares him to death, so this is the one and only time that he has worn him!!
Other good pictures of the boys!

This is a video of a song that Brock and I sing to each other every night at bedtime. Ryan has picked up a few words and trys to sing along!
