Brock was awarded the Golden Gator award at school. It is an award voted on by his classmates, so it's a great honor. Great job, Brock! We're proud of you!
This is what Brock's teacher had to say about him.
So proud of our young man!
Brock and Ryan grabbed the sidewalk chalk and went to town! They both worked on this one.
This was Ryan's creation: a "creeper" from his Minecraft game.
And this was Brock's creation. He did this all by himself!
The first grade class at school put on a musical. Ryan was so excited to have a part in the Rainbow Rocks song!!
The end of the month marked a sad time for our family. Our best buddy of 12 1/2 years had to be laid to rest. It was a very difficult decision, but it was for the best. Max was an awesome dog & faithful friend and will be missed dearly.
The following pictures are some of our favorites throughout the years.
Max's first trip to the beach.
Eyeing our hamburger and showing a lot of restraint!!
Anytime I was at my desk, Max would crawl under it and lay there until I left.
When we made the decision to put Max down, we decided to throw him a party. Ryan asked us why we never celebrated Max's birthday, so we gave him a birthday party. He had lasagne for dinner....
...then we showed him his cake. (He didn't want his picture taken!)
And we sang him chants & songs!!
Then he ripped into his cake!!!
We played with him and made some great memories.
When Brock was about 18 months old, I took this picture of him and Max.
We thought it would be fun to have another one to remind us of our great dog!
We also made this garden stone with his paw print.
Max, we miss you and think of you every day. You were the best dog and a true member of our family. We'll see you on the other side!! Love you!!
