Labor Day Weekend ~ Dallas

This year, my great friend, Monica, and her family came to Dallas for Labor Day weekend.  We rarely get to see them, so we met them there.  We had a lot of fun together and our kids had such a good time.

While waiting for everyone to arrive at the Dallas Zoo, I snapped some pictures of the boys climbing a tree.

The O'Neal's at the zoo.

Ryan, Brady & Brock climbed up these rocks (and every other boulder they could find in the zoo!).

The giraffe exhibit at this zoo is so fun.  You can buy some lettuce and feed the giraffes...always a huge hit!

Climbing on the bronze elephants.

Ryan's favorite snake is a King Cobra.  He finally got to see a real one and we had to take a picture, of course!

They had a wind tunnel that the kids were dying to get in.  So we paid up and they had a blast!!

An albino alligator.

In the children's area, there was a small creek for kids to play in and cool off from the hot Texas summer.

Our hotel had a great indoor/outdoor pool, but it was cooolllldddd!!!  Hanna braved the freezing pool...

...as did Steve...

...and Brady & Brock.

Brady learned to dive while we were there!!!  After many belly-flops, he performed a pretty good dive!

Ryan was so cold!

How cute is this sweet, little girl?!?!?

Hanna showing me her swimming skills!

Monica & her Mini-Me

The Three Muskateers!

Cannonball!!!!!!

Steve also had to introduce them to Braum's ice cream.

We had a great weekend with the Kilgrens and it was so good to see Monica again.  On our way out of town, we stopped at the Frontiers of Flight Museum at Love Field.  It had some really neat airplanes and interesting facts about Southwest Airlines.  Ryan especially liked this airplane.
