Brock and Ryan did a great job in swimming lessons this year. We signed up for the first 2 weeks lessons were offered and that's when it decided to rain for the first time in months. They missed about 2 1/2 days of lessons, so I signed them up for another session. They did a great job and learned so much. We went to the pool recently and the both jumped off the diving board and swam to the side...by themselves!!! And they actually
swam...not dog-paddled!
Ryan had a tough time this year. We think he is allergic to chlorine, so anytime he got in the pool, he sneezed and sneezed. After a while, he was just miserable. He didn't want to put his face in the water because it hurt his eyes and seemed to make his allergies worse. When he put his face in the water, he actually did really well and can swim!
This is Brock doing a back float. Ever since he was a baby, he has
hated being on his back in the water, so this is a big accomplishment for him!
I love when Brock is a sweet big brother and takes care of Ryan. Here he is walking Ryan to his class.
The boys wanted their pictures taken by these silly boards at the pool.

You have some silly boys...lol! Love 'um!!! I'm proud they did so well with their lessons. It is so important that they learn to swim NOW...right?!
