April 2011

April was full of fun as you will see in blog posts below.  We had both boys lose a tooth (11 days apart)...

...dancing...

...poses with adoring fans...

...and baseball.
Our family is so blessed to have each other and to love each other.  Our boys keep growing so fast...it amazes me.  They are really good kids and enjoy being with each other...and Steve and I have been blessed beyond all measure through them and through each other.

Cameron Park Zoo ~ April 21

We went with Brock's class to the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco for a field trip.  I've said it before and I'll say it again:  this is a great zoo for kids!!  We had a really good time with him and the other 5 boys in his class.  Ryan had a good time hanging with the big boys!

Easter ~ April 24

We celebrated Easter with some of the O'Neal's this year.  Steve's mom and dad, aunt and uncle & cousin and his girlfriend all came to celebrate with us.

Oil Ranch ~ April 30

Steve's company picnic was at the Oil Ranch (north of Houston).  We always have a good time there because there is so much for the kids to do.  These swings were made out of old tires and cut to look like a horse.

Riding the Indian Swings.

Pole climbing.

A train ride.

Horseback riding.

Paint ball shooting.
They also had a cow that they milked.  It was quite the experience for both of the boys and they did actually get some milk!  They had a rope swing in a barn onto a pile of hay, a miniature golf course, a petting zoo and lots of other activities.  It was a good day for the O'Neal's!

Ryan's Marlin Baseball

This was Ryan's first year to play T-ball.  He seemed to like it, but likes flag football and basketball better.

Ryan's team.  He's #8

Can you tell what his favorite position is from the next several pictures?

Favorite position?  Squatting down or goofing off!

Ryan in the catcher gear.  I'm not sure those shin guards are going to protect him much!

A few videos of him.

Brock's Muckdog Baseball

Brock played machine-pitch baseball this year for the Muckdogs.  He did really well, although I think it is his least favorite sport.  It's a little too slow paced for him.
