Disney World ~ Professional Pictures

Star Wars

As you know, Star Wars was by far the most important thing to do with the boys. Here they are in Jedi Training Academy.

Ryan getting his diploma. I'm not sure what he's saying, but it's probably something like: "I just kicked Darth Vader's bootie!!"Brock listening to the Jedi Master.Game Face: ON!!Brock vs. Darth Vader

It was at about this point when Steve looked at me and said, "I don't think Brock is feeling good." (He's the one on the right in yellow shorts.)Here's when we knew he wasn't feeling good. He is so pale and by the time he got to us, was close to passing out. Poor guy... :-(Ryan did the Jedi Training Academy on another day as well. Here's his second round of "kicking Darth Vader's bootie."

The rest of the family ~ Ryan still not at his best...

Brock and Ryan at their best!!!! :-)Magic Kingdom with my brother, Walter.
While we were waiting for the parade to start, Steve and the boys played some checkers. A photographer was passing by and Steve asked him to take some pictures.
These next pictures are hilarious..... We got the boys nametags to wear while we were there and for the second time at Disney, we were so happy we did. We were in Magic Kingdom watching the parade when Cinderella's stepmom saw their nametags and yelled, "Girls!!!!!!! It's Brock and Ryan...two eligible bachelors!!!!! Come see them!!" The stepsisters came over and just were fawning all over the boys, asking them questions, wanting them to kiss their hands! It was great! They went on and on for a good 2 or 3 minutes until they had to move along. Great memory!
One stepsister waiting for Ryan to kiss her hand. (I had to tell him why she was standing there holding her hand out like that!)

Disney Characters & O'Neal Characters
Goofy
Flik from "A Bug's Life"Annie & Leo from "The Little Einsteins"Brock and Ryan with Tinkerbell. This one cracks me up. My boys are so anti-Princess, anti-fairy, anti-Barbie, anti-anything remotely girly. The camerman told them to put their hands together like that and look down in surprise. Were they surprised when they saw the picture of them holding Tinkerbell!!!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha I told them that I was going to blow up this picture into an 8x10 and frame it in their bedroomThe Man ~ Buzz Lightyear
Stitch from "Lilo and Stitch"

Fishing
The boys really wanted to go fishing one weekend, so Steve bought some worms and we all went to the "Goose and Quack-Quack" park, as the boys call it (Central Park). We got a lot of bites, but no fish. The boys had a great time anyway and really enjoyed getting out in nature and spending time with Daddy.

Ryan showing me his worm.Brock and Ryan took a break from fishing to feed the ducks. And I got a picture with my sweet Ryan.
Car Washing
Believe it or not, we have never washed our car at home. We usually get a free car wash when we get our oil changed. But our car was so dirty, so I thought I'd teach the boys how to wash the car...the old fashioned way. They didn't quite get the concept...they just walked down the car with the sponge in a straight line, but they had a lot of fun getting wet and playing with the water hose.

I love the way Ryan is looking at Brock!!
Brock's Last Day of School
I read in a magazine last summer about a lady who took a picture of her kids on the first day of school and on the last day of school wearing the same clothes, so she could see how they had grown and changed. I thought that was a neat idea. So, here's Brock on his first day of Kindergarten (Aug. 24, 2009)....
...and his last day of Kindergarten (May 28, 2010).First day......last day.Ryan on Brock's last day of Kinder. He had to get his picture taken, too!
Brock's class had a Lunch Luau on the last day of school. It was really cute and the kids enjoyed it.
Tiki Brock. One of the moms made this lampshade for their teacher with all of the kid's hand prints on it. It was so cute and such a great idea!Brock and his awesome teacher, Mrs. Brinkerhoff.
Lowe's Handymen
We went to Lowe's one Saturday morning...a little too late for the kid's workshop. So, they gave us all the stuff needed (including the aprons and goggles!) to make a race car. Ryan and Brock couldn't hardly wait to get home to build it.

Playing in the Rain
We finally got a really good rain, so we let the boys go play in it. They had a great time jumping in puddles and floating sticks in the curb....

...and sitting in the puddles!

Ryan ~ Hot Shots Soccer

Ryan played Hot Shots Soccer again this year. I wasn't sure if he'd really be that into it or if he would just want to play on the nearby playground the whole time. He actually did really well and is a fairly good little soccer player. Here he is with his trophy and showing some soccer skills!

The video shows Ryan practicing. He is in the brown shorts and helicopter shirt. Too bad he missed the goal! He did really well stealing the ball and taking all the way to the goal, though!

Brock ~ Tiger T-Ball

Brock played t-ball again this year. He didn't enjoy it as much as last year. He is more of a social player. He likes to play, but he likes hanging out with his friends more. He didn't really have any close, good friends on the team this year and really didn't enjoy himself. Maybe if he wants to play next year, we can get him on a team with some of his friends. Here are a few pictures of Brock working hard on the field.

Here are just a few examples of what he did during the games when he was bored. He cracks me up.

Steve was an assistant coach again this year. Here's Daddy and Brock with his trophy. What did Ryan do during the games? He tried on helmets... ...a few different ways......and sat in buckets! I have some funny kids!
